Our Process

KE Design Studio has found that designing kitchen and bathrooms are best achieved through a systematic process of uncovering their client’s goals. Once the goals are established, they can address them with customized solutions.

STAGE ONE

While visiting our showroom you can see, touch and experience the custom cabinetry that will be specifically made for your individual needs. We will begin to discuss just what’s involved in the design process requiring in-depth client-designer decision-making.

STAGE TWO

The next step is to schedule an in-home consultation with one of our designers. This meeting will take approximately one hour and initiates the exchange of ideas. Our job is to get to know you, to learn about how you live and how you envision your new space.

STAGE THREE

The actual design process begins with initial drawings and floor plans and will require a design retainer based on the scope of your project.   A portion of the retainer will be applied towards the purchase of your new custom cabinetry. This stage includes:

  • Review comprehensive floor plan
  • Final selection of cabinetry, finishes and materials
  • Discuss various options and costs associated with each option

STAGE FOUR

This stage takes place after all initial collaboration between designer and client is completed.  In this stage, we will complete the following:

  •  Finely detailed proposal is presented
  • Responsibilities and timing reviewed
  • Final agreement is confirmed

STAGE FIVE

You’ve waited this long. It’s time to get started on the bath, kitchen or interior of your dreams.  This last stage includes the following steps:

  • Construction schedule prepared including start date and target completion date
  • Installation process commences and is completed including the coordination of all necessary trades such as counter tops and backsplash tile.
